MNsure has started mailing 2027 Federal Tax Information (FTI) notices to consumers who are enrolled in a qualified health plan and whose FTI consent expires on December 31, 2026. MNsure requires a consumer’s consent to access their tax information to update their eligibility.

Consumers who receive a notice should follow the instructions provided to update their FTI consent and help ensure they receive the correct eligibility determination for 2027. Consumers can update the consent by editing their application through their account, or return the form included with the notice. 

Please note: MNsure will notify assisters who have associated consumers required to update their consent. However, assisters cannot attest to federal tax information on behalf of a tax filer.
